Manchester United legend and Class of ’92 star Nicky Butt has received a police caution for actual bodily harm after headbutting a security guard during his birthday celebration at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire.
According to The Sun, the incident happened on January 24, when Butt, after a seven-hour party, was denied more drinks. Things escalated when he was caught urinating against a wall by a bouncer. Upon being confronted, Butt allegedly headbutted the guard, who was later treated in hospital for his injuries.
The birthday bash was star-studded, with about 30 guests, including David and Victoria Beckham, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, and their partners.
Butt has since accepted the caution and agreed to make a donation to charity. The 49-year-old, who stepped down as Salford City CEO last year, remains one of the directors of the club, co-owned by the Class of ’92. However, reports suggest the group might be looking to sell the club in the near future.
