Manchester City have exercised their buyback option on Jose Manuel Esmoris, known as ‘Angelino‘, after an impressive campaign with PSV Eindhoven last year.
The Spaniard has signed a four-year deal that will keep him in Manchester until June 30, 2023.

Angelino is a product of Deportivo La Coruna‘s academy, before he originally joined City at 16. He spent time at New York City before being handed his debut in the FA Cup in 2015.
In order to further his development, he was loaned out to Girona, Real Mallorca, NAC Breda and PSV, where he hit his best form.
During 2018/19 he played 42 times and appeared in the Champions League as well, contributing 11 assists and scoring one goal himself.
“I’m delighted to return to City,” he said to the club’s media.
“It’s a team who play incredible football with Pep Guardiola.
“The performances in the last two seasons have been incredible. I’m excited to return and I can develop under Pep.
“I’m sure the club will continue to grow in the coming years.”
