Confirming the incident this morning, November 24, the state governor, Samuel Ortom said details of the death would be made to the public later in the day, Nigerian Tribune reports.
“As I am talking to you now, the Tiv traditional council members have just left Gboko to formally announce the passing away of the paramount ruler,” he said.
According to him, he was waiting for the Tiv traditional council to formally communicate the news to him.
