Pepe Mediavilla dies, the voice of dubbing of Morgan Freeman, Spock and Gandalf

He was one of the most recognized dubbing actors of the sector since the end of the 60s, in charge of giving voice to Morgan Freeman, Ian McKellen or Leonard Nimoy, Cinemania report.
According to the website El Doblaje through social networks, actor Pepe Mediavilla has died at 77 years old. It was one of the most recognized voices by Spanish viewers, indelibly associated with the performances of Morgan Freeman, whom he dubbed throughout his career, which includes such acclaimed performances as Unforgiven (1992), Chain Perpetual (1994), Seven (1995), Million Dollar Baby (2004) or the trilogy of The Dark Knight.

He was also the usual Spanish voice of Ian McKellen, for example in the films of The Lord of the Rings where he played Gandalf. It was one of Mediavilla’s most legendary roles, burned into a community of fans, as was Spock’s voice in the original Star Trek series, one of his first works in the middle.
