Phyna, the winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season seven, has opened up on her relationship with Groovy, a fellow housemate.
The reality TV star spoke about her relationship status when she was featured on the TokeMoment podcast.
Phyna said her relationship with Groovy on BBNaija was just a game they both agreed to play.
She said she did not go into the reality show to get into a relationship but to play the game.
“I didn’t intend to get into a relationship in the BBNaija house. It just happened because of the space. Even when I was in a relationship in the house, I didn’t let my game fall. I was still doing whatever I wanted to do,” she said.
“(Groovy) We were never dating. We were playing a game. He knew that I was also playing a game with him. Now the game is over. There is a new show. Everybody moves on.”
Groovy had previous told TheCable Lifestyle that what he shared with Phyna on BBNaija was not a strategy.
“No, it was not a strategy. I came to the show to win and part of winning is also being yourself; being heavily involved in everything that’s happening and just being confident,” he said.
