Portable, the street singer, has shared a video of himself performing what he suggested to be “money-making” rites.

In footage shared via his Instagram page, the singer could be seen stirring and tasting a thick blood-red liquid in a white bowl.

The video shows other white bowls surrounding the controversial singer, with one containing kola nuts and another containing raw meat.

A young boy could also be seen smearing the singer’s head with the red liquid.

In an accompanying caption, Portable implied the act is an “Ifa ritual” while describing himself as a “money-making machine”.

Ori ade. Olu isese BTC. Ifa olumope gbewa. We pray for money and grace. Dr Zeh, money-making machine,” he wrote.

Ifá is a traditional divination system practised in Africa, particularly among rural communities in Yoruba land.

Born Habeeb Okikiola, Portable gained fame in December 2021 with the release of ‘Zazoo Zeh’, his hit single featuring Olamide and Poco Lee.

Since then, he has always been in the public eye for controversial reasons.

In 2023, one of his songs titled ‘Kuku Do Ritual’ faced condemnation for encouraging ritualism.

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) also called for its ban, arguing that it was an “open invitation to criminality.
