
Rotherham of England defender Semi Ajayi and new Girondis Bordeuax sensation Samuel Kalu have landed at the Super Eagles 🦅 camp ahead of Nigeria’s 🇳🇬 AfCON Qualifier against Seychelles 🇸🇨.
Asides Kalu and Ajayi, players now in camp include red hot Galatassary Striker Henry Onyekuru, new CD Leganes of Spain defender Kenneth Omeruo, Elche of Spain loanee Francis Uzoho, Chidozie Awaziem, Porto’s Kelechi Nwakali, Bryan Idowu, Simeon Nwankwo and Joel Obi.
Top Arsenal Midfielder Alex iwobi has been ruled out of the encounter no thanks to an illness he picked up in mid-week.
Also ruled out are Torino utility defender Ola Aina and Udinese strong man William Troost Ekong
There is a lot of excitement around the arrival of Kalu who has been tipped by many including Super eagles coach Gernot Rohr as the replacement to retired Chelsea Star Victor Moses.
Also much focus was on the inclusion of Semi Ajayi who was a surprise inclusion in the list
Nigeria take on Seychelles on Saturday September 7th the at the at the Stade Linte in Seychelles.
The Super Eagles are third in Group E and need a win to stand a chance of qualifying for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations billed for Cameroon.
