The Senate has postponed Ameachi’s screening to Wednesday making the postponement the 2nd time. The Senate made this known that the embattled former governor of Rivers state, ‘Rotimi Amaechi’ will not be screened today but will be screened on Wednesday.

This was revealed by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Publicity, Dino Melaye. He explained that APC caucus in the Senate has decided to back the nomination of Amaechi while insinuating that there are moves to also lobby the PDP lawmakers to support Amaechi.
Amaechi has also been a source of division among senators on account of petitions against him.
