A suspected thief has been arrested eight months after he allegedly stole a mobile phone and withdrew the sum of N500,000 from the victim’s bank account.
An Ogun-based investigative journalist, Tosin, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Thursday, May 18, 2023, thanked the Kano State Police Command for their cooperation in getting the suspect arrested.
“Every day for the thief but surely one day for the owner. Kudos to Nigeria Police Force Kano State for their cooperation with TMC in getting the culprit of a stolen phone about 8 months ago. Also a sum of 500,000 ( Five hundred thousand naira) was withdrawn through the owner’s phone palm pay account. The process might take so long, but Justice will surely prevail.” he wrote.
