Thomas Tuchel has been named as the new manager of Paris Saint-Germain. The German left Borussia Dortmund a year ago after spending two years with the Bundesliga side.
But he has now brought an end to his sabbatical, replacing Unai Emery at the Paris side after agreeing a two-year deal.
Tuchel said: “It is with great joy, pride and ambition that I join this great world football club that is Paris Saint-Germain. I look forward to working with all these great players, all of whom are among the best on the planet.”
Emery, who was at the Parc de Princes for a single season, won the league and cup double but failed to progress beyond the last 16 of the Champions League.
