Armed bandits attacked Dansadau community in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, killing three persons and abducting 7 others.
A source in the community told Channels TV that the armed bandits stormed the community around 2:30am and the attack lasted for about 4 hours till the early hours of this morning, Friday, July 23.

The source also disclosed that armoured personnel carrier belonging to the Nigerian military was also set ablaze by the bandits.
The State Police Command is yet to confirm the attack. However, a member of the community, Sir Usman Dansadau, shared photos of the burnt armoured vehicle.
