Nigeria international defender William Troost-Ekong is close to joining Italian Serie A side Udinese from Turkish side Trabzonspor for a fee in the region of €3.3m.
The Italian side have been locked in negations with the Nigerians Turkish club and have finally agreed a deal to sign the defender.
Ekong who featured for Nigeria at the world cup joined Bursaspor from KAA Gent in 2017 and made 32 appearances scoring two goals
The Nigerian international has previously played for Tottenham Hotspur, Groningen, Dordrecht, KAA Gent and Haugesund.
The 25 year old has represented Holland at Under-19 and Under-21 levels but eventually chose to represent Nigeria at senior level amassing 24 senior caps for Nigeria 🇳🇬.
Bursaspor have already published a farewell message to the Nigeria international on their official Twitter handle.

The Dutch-Nigerian turns 25 next month was heavily linked with a move to Stade Rennais in France.
