Habeeb Okikiola, the controversial singer better known as Portable, has bagged a chieftaincy title in Awori, Ogun state.
The singer disclosed that he has been named the Amuludun of Tigbo land via an Instagram post.
The ceremony took place in Awori town on August 21.
“Thank God for making today a blessed one for me, may we all witness our happy day in good health and joy,” he wrote.
“World Tigbo day, join me to celebrate my coronation today. Chief Amuludun of Awori Tigbo land.”

In another video on his Instagram page, Portable can be seen kneeling in front of chiefs while they prayed for him during the coronation.

The development comes a few weeks after he was disqualified from The Headies 2022 over his alleged involvement in criminal activities.
In May, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner was nominated for the ‘Best Street Artist’ and ‘Rookie of the Year’ categories.
Shortly after the unveiling of the nominees, Portable threatened to kill anyone who wins the categories he is nominated for.
In its reaction, the award organisers threatened to disqualify him if he doesn’t retract his statement.
Portable had initially taunted the award organisers, saying they “nominated a mad man musician”.
The singer, thereafter, apologised for his “unguarded utterance” which he said was harmless.
Despite his apology, he was disqualified from this year’s Headies in July shortly after he claimed he found of ‘One million Boys’, a suspected cult group in Lagos.
