VIDEO: SCHOOLBOY Q – ‘JOHN MUIR’

ScHoolboy Q shows the cycle of violence in his latest Blank Face LP music video for “JoHn Muir. Directed by A Plus, the compelling visual is a ride “through the motherf**kin’ streets, y’all.” As Q spits autobiographical raps, two young men embark on a crime-filled ride through the city of Los Angeles in a whip that they obtained from a mugging/car-jacking.

It isn’t all bad though. The main characters also shoot some hoop, grab In-N-Out, and enjoy fun times with friends. That is, until they meet their end on the other side of a shootout.

Prior to this, Q unleashed three videos in the form of a short film. The three parts were told through “By Any Means,” “Tookie Knows II,” and “Black THougHts.”
