Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has fired back at her senior colleague Angela Okorie over recent remarks made about fellow actress Mercy Johnson.
In an Instagram Live session, Angela Okorie claimed she had forgiven Mercy Johnson after hearing that the mother of four was seriously ill.
However, she added that Johnson should seek forgiveness from those she had wronged, accusing her of using religious language that doesn’t reflect her true character.
Reacting via her Instagram story, Regina Daniels strongly condemned Angela’s comments, calling her “mad” and urging her not to forgive Mercy. The wife of billionaire politician Ned Nwoko declared that neither she nor Mercy practices forgiveness.
I’m sorry, and with all due respect, Aunty Angela, you dey mad! Abeg no forgive because for this side, we no dey forgive. Continue and whilst at it, no forget say she get pikin wey gidigba. No dey shalaye!! Regina wrote.
This heated exchange follows previous criticism from Okorie, who last month alleged that Mercy Johnson’s noticeable weight loss wasn’t due to slimming tea, as claimed, but because she has no more blood to suck. Angela accused Mercy of ruining lives and destroying homes, insisting she must seek atonement or remain restless.
