Princess, the Nigerian comedian, has called the attention of the public to the alleged rape and murder of a 10-year-old girl in the Ayobo area of Lagos state.
In a post via her Instagram page on Monday, the comedian said the little girl was ambushed by her assailants on Sunday.
According to her, Aisha was on her way to church when she was “assailed and raped to death.”
“Please if you’re watching this, I need your help. Yesterday, a 10-year-old girl Aisha was raped to death in Ayobo. If you are in Ayobo, please can you help me go to Ayobo police station.,” she said.
“When you get to Ayobo police station, please DM me your number because the police are not allowing the her mum to see her. The police just said she couldn’t see her. That they’ve taken her to the mortuary.
“She’s almost losing her mind. I’m begging you. It could be anyone’s child. She was going to church yesterday. They raped her, killed her in the afternoon, and threw her into somebody’s compound.”
Efforts to reach Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos state police spokesman, on the matter have proved abortive — as of the time of this report.
Princess has been in the news since the beginning of the sexual assault case against Baba Ijesha, the embattled actor, in April 2021.
The entertainer also narrated how she caught Baba Ijesha allegedly defiling her 14-year-old foster child in her house.
In July, the actor was sentenced to 16 years in prison for sexual assault.
