NOA DG Urges Nigerians to Pray for Peace and Unity During Ramadan

The Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Lanre Issa-Onilu, has called on Muslims across Nigeria to use the month of Ramadan to pray for peace, unity, and national development.

In a statement released on Saturday by the agency’s Deputy Director of Media and Communication, Paul Odenyi, Issa-Onilu encouraged Muslims to engage in spiritual reflections, acts of charity, and increased devotion in line with Islamic teachings.

🔹 Issa-Onilu’s Message:
“For the development of the country, all citizens must pray for peace and unity, irrespective of religious or political affiliation. This is a sacred period of reflection for self-renewal and a way to move humanity forward.”

He assured that the NOA would continue to promote national values and work towards the greatness of Nigeria.

The NOA DG also urged Nigerians to use the opportunity of Ramadan to pray for the success of the present administration and the country’s progress.
