Wolverhampton Wanderers have sacked their manager, Vitor Pereira, following a 3-0 loss to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
The Premier League club announced the decision on Sunday, just 45 days after Pereira signed a new three-year contract.
Wolves have endured a terrible start to the season, failing to win any of their first ten league matches.
They have collected only two points so far and now sit eight points away from safety.
The defeat to Fulham came just days after they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup, losing 4-3 to Chelsea.
Under Pereira, Wolves have struggled badly and are currently the only team in England’s top four divisions without a single win this season.
