The Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa, has called on Nigerians to unite in the face of ongoing security challenges across the country.

Musa emphasized the importance of collective sacrifice and devotion in fostering national unity.
He stated that achieving peace and progress in Nigeria demands a shared commitment from all citizens. “In the spirit of this holy season, let us rise above our differences and work together to uphold the ideals of a strong, secure, and indivisible nation,” he said.
The Minister commended the courage, resilience, and patriotism of the officers and men of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, acknowledging their relentless efforts to protect the country’s territorial integrity and combat criminal activities nationwide.
“As we celebrate in the comfort of our homes, let us remember and pray for our brave troops who remain on the frontlines to ensure our safety,” he added.
Gen. Musa reaffirmed the Ministry of Defence’s unwavering commitment to providing the resources, welfare, and equipment necessary to decisively overcome threats to Nigeria’s peace and stability.
He also urged citizens to remain vigilant, support security agencies, and promptly report any suspicious activities in their communities.
