But I know I will see them soon by God’s grace. I saw them last year. My first son will be six this year. My second will be four.
The actress also disclosed that she has emotionally checked out of her marriage and now hopes to have a daughter. For some reason, I have checked my mind out of getting married. I am going to have a girl. And I must have a girl child. I feel like motherhood starts better when you have a girl child, Daniels said.
She reflected on her earlier views, saying, Before I had my first son, I said I was never going to have a girl child. Boys will grow up and be firm about having their own family. But girls will always remember home.
Daniels’ statements come amid a widely publicized marital crisis with her husband, Ned Nwoko. In October, a video surfaced showing Daniels in tears, alleging domestic violence. Nwoko responded by accusing Daniels of struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Daniels later admitted to using hard drugs but claimed Nwoko played a role in fostering her addiction as a means of control.
Nwoko has insisted he does not want Regina to return home, urging that she seek therapy. He accused Daniels of ongoing substance abuse, stating her behavior has declined significantly over the past eight months. Nwoko reportedly gave Daniels an ultimatum: return to rehabilitation or risk losing financial support.
