The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has announced that Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, will perform at the Los Angeles leg of the World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert series on Wednesday, June 10.
In a statement released on Tuesday, FIFA confirmed that the Los Angeles concert will feature Diplo’s Major Lazer alongside Davido, with more artists to be announced soon.
This event is part of an unprecedented synchronized live concert series taking place across the three host nations—Canada, Mexico, and the United States—as part of the lead-up to the tournament.
FIFA described the Los Angeles show as a high-energy celebration, marking the first official lineup announcement for what promises to be an unforgettable night of music, football, and culture.
The concert will be held at the Crypto.com Arena, with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. PT and the live broadcast commencing at 6:00 p.m. PT.
FIFA explained that the concert will connect performances across the three host countries, with live acts also streamed from Mexico City and Toronto.
“The Countdown Concert series celebrates the passion, unity, and cultural connections that define the FIFA World Cup 2026 across three nations and globally,” said Manolo Zubiria, FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Tournament Officer – USA.
Just two days before the opening match in the United States, Los Angeles will host an unforgettable show featuring top talent in one of the world’s premier entertainment capitals, bringing together music, football, and fans in a global celebration as we prepare to welcome the world,” he added.
Fans can purchase tickets starting Wednesday, June 3, at 10:00 a.m. PST. The concert will also be broadcast globally on FIFA’s digital platforms, including a livestream on the FIFA World Cup TikTok account, the exclusive social media livestream partner.
The complete concert and behind-the-scenes content will be available the following day on FIFA’s video-on-demand platform, VuMe Live.
