Nollywood actress Beverly Osu has shared insights into the surprising career path she considered before entering the entertainment industry.
In a recent interview on the Creativtea Podcast, Beverly revealed that she once aspired to become a reverend sister, inspired by her Catholic upbringing.
“I was meant to be a Reverend Sister. I genuinely wanted that path,” Beverly said, explaining that her admiration for the discipline, cleanliness, and attire of priests and nuns played a significant role in her decision. “Because I am meticulous and very neat, I just loved how clean the priests and Reverend Sisters were. That was it for me.”
Beverly further recounted that during her school years, she was deeply committed to the idea of joining a convent and could clearly envision herself following that spiritual path. Now, she says, “I am doing God’s work in other ways.”
