Justin Bieber to Perform at 2026 FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show

Global music icon Justin Bieber has been confirmed as a headline performer for the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show at the 2026 tournament.

FIFA and Global Citizen revealed that Bieber will share the stage with Madonna, Shakira, and BTS during the historic event, taking place on July 19, 2026, at New York New Jersey Stadium.

The star-studded halftime show will blend football, music, and a powerful message of social impact. Additional performers include Nigerian sensation Burna Boy, acclaimed Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS 22 Chorus featuring Coldplay. Characters from Sesame Street and The Muppets will also appear, spotlighting the importance of quality education for children worldwide.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino stated that the event will benefit the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which is dedicated to expanding access to education and football for children worldwide. Over $50 million has already been raised for the fund, with a goal of reaching $100 million. For every ticket sold to FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, $1 will be donated to the initiative.

Infantino emphasized that the show, curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, will send a message of unity and hope to billions of viewers, celebrating football, music, and shared values while creating a legacy beyond the tournament.

Justin Bieber expressed his gratitude for being part of an event that supports children’s education around the world. Burna Boy called his participation an honor and said he is proud to represent Africa while helping to create better educational opportunities for children.

Produced by Global Citizen in partnership with Live Nation and Done + Dusted, the halftime show is described by Chris Martin as a celebration of togetherness, welcoming everyone to join in.

Earlier this year, FIFA and Global Citizen announced the first recipients of grants from the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, supporting education and football programs in underserved communities across ten countries. Through the Unite for Education campaign, FIFA is using the World Cup to raise awareness of educational initiatives, with players wearing special sleeve patches during key matches to promote the cause.
