Nollywood actor Afeez Oyetoro, popularly known as Saka, has shared the story of a difficult financial decision he made in 1999.
In a recent interview, Saka revealed that he was offered ₦7.5 million to promote a betting company but declined the lucrative deal because it conflicted with his personal values.
As a devout individual who has always spoken out against betting, smoking, and drinking alcohol, Saka explained that accepting the offer would have contradicted the principles he taught his students and set a poor example.
He further disclosed that the same agent later presented him with a different opportunity—a six-month job worth ₦5 million. “It was a six-month contract that required us to travel across the country. After completing the project, I was paid in full,” Saka recounted.
