Israel DMW, the logistics manager for Afrobeats star Davido, has responded to allegations claiming Davido is secretly collaborating with the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Addressing the rumors in an Instagram post, Israel emphasized that Davido has not altered his political position. He dismissed the allegations as baseless, describing them as fabricated stories intended to generate social media attention.
Israel further revealed that Davido had declined several lucrative offers to endorse presidential candidates, reiterating the singer’s unwavering commitment to supporting Nigerians during challenging times.
He wrote: “Dearest Nigerians, kindly disregard the baseless rumors circulating that Oga has been secretly or is currently working for APC. These are entirely fabricated lies aimed at gaining social media traffic. His earlier stance remains unchanged.
Oga has turned down several millions of dollars to endorse any presidential candidate. He always says he stands with Nigerians who are enduring so much and would never betray them.
What more do Nigerians want?”
