Idris Okoya, son of prominent Nigerian businessman Razaq Okoya, recently married his partner, Rukoyah, in a vibrant traditional ceremony.
The joyous union was publicly celebrated by Shade Okoya, Razaq’s wife, who shared a heartfelt congratulatory message and video highlights from the event on her Instagram story.
Rukoyah is reported to be the daughter of Abdulganiu Hussein Al-Ilory, a respected Islamic cleric from Kwara State. The wedding was a colorful affair, with the bride and groom making a striking impression in matching green traditional attire. Family members added to the festive atmosphere, dressed in white ensembles complemented by navy blue gele headpieces.
Idris is one of Razaq Okoya’s sons from a previous marriage. Earlier this year, another of the industrialist’s children, Raheeda Olamide, became engaged to Imran Saro Gobir.
Beyond his business achievements as founder and owner of the Eleganza Group of Companies, Razaq Okoya holds the esteemed title of Aare of Lagos. Recently, a man named Fatai Okoya, who claims to be the businessman’s first son, publicly discussed his efforts to reconcile with his father after 40 years of estrangement.
