Nigerian comedian and skit maker Sabinus has voiced his frustration over the lack of unity among Nigerians, questioning why many hesitate to speak out against pressing societal challenges.
In a social media post on Tuesday, the popular content creator highlighted a troubling paradox: Nigerians who call for accountability are often told to mind their own business, while those who avoid public discourse are still subjected to criticism and insults.
Sabinus emphasized the urgent need for national unity and collective demand for accountability from leaders.
A lot is going on in this country and we’re just keeping quiet. You demand good governance, they tell you to mind your business. You try to mind your business, they still insult you. When are we going to come together and demand what we’re owed?” he stated.
