The Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has described the death of Mulikat Adegbola as shocking and heartbreaking.

The actress passes away early Saturday morning.

The news came barely three weeks after another Yoruba actress, Kudirat Ajimati died.

TAMPAN National Director of Public Relations, Yomi Fash-Lanso, stated that the death of Mulikat Adegbola is “a big loss to the industry just like some great actors too that died in their prime.”

In a chat with Gidipoint Sunday morning, the prolific actor noted that the Exco members and colleagues of the deceased “are devastated by the news of her sudden death”.

Continuing, the prolific actor said: “Sudden in the sense that she had pulled out of her illness many months back.

“The President of TAMPAN (Dele Odule) would want to seize this time of grief to appeal to all members to take health insurance as priority.

We pray that God give the families of the deceased the strength to forge ahead in life and fortitude to bear the loss.”

The movie industry has witnessed many deaths in 2016.
