The Kano State Government has approved the payment of salaries of workers in the state to allow proper celebrations of the Eid al-Fitr holidays, Punch reports.
News of the approval was revealed in a statement released by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba.
“The governor also wishes all workers delightful celebrations,” the statement added, enjoining workers to reciprocate the government’s gesture by being dedicated to their service.
The statement requested that banks in the state ensure workers access their salaries.
