Senate President, Bukola Saraki has finally dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Saraki, in a tweet on his twitter handle on Tuesday said “I wish to inform Nigerians that, after extensive consultations, I have decided to take my leave of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Political pundits have been expecting Saraki to dump the APC for long after series of persecutions meted out on him by the ruling APC.
He was being investigated in the Offa Bank robbery, in which 31 people were killed. He just overcame the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, case.
On Monday, the APC National Executive Committee, NEC, dissolved the Kwara State APC Executive council, dominated by Saraki’s allies.
