Kelechi Nwakali Henry Onyekuru Samuel Kalu Make Super Eagles List For AFCON Qualifier

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has released a 24 man list of players to prosecute the upcoming AFCON qualifier against Seychelles πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¨.

Fans of the team will be highly excited as the German tactician invited most of the youngsters fans have been clamoring for in the list.

Top of the new names is Galatassary of Turkey hotshot Henry Onyekuru who has hit the ground running in Turkey πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡·.

There are also call ups for Girondis de Bordeaux new boy Samuel Kalu and FC Portos exciting young midfielder Kelechi Nwakali.

There are also some totally new and unexpected faces in the list like Jaminu Collins – who plays with German 3rd division side Paderborn, and ex Arsenal youth teamer now at Rottherham Semi Ajayi.

Most of the regulars make a return to the team including Changchun Yatai of China Striker Odion Ighalo still makes the team despite the backlash that greeted his performance at the last World Cup in Russia πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί.

Nigeria will play away to Seychelles in Victoria on Matchday 2 of the qualifying series on September 7, before they entertain Libya’s Mediterranean Knights in Nigeria on Matchday 3 in the second week of October.
