Jeezy is back behind bars. The Atlanta rapper was arrested for possession of an assault rifle in Irvine, Calif., on Sunday.
According to TMZ, the weapon turned up during the investigation into the deadly shooting at Wiz Khalifa’s concert in Mountain View, Calif., where a man was killed after being shot five times.
Irvine police executed a search warrant on Jeezy’s tour bus at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in connection with Friday’s shooting. During the search, cops found an assault rifle they believe belongs to Jeezy. Several members of Jeezy’s entourage were also arrested for gun possession.
Jeezy is currently in custody and being held on $1 million bail. He didn’t perform during the final stop of the “Under the Influence of Music” tour on Sunday. This is not his first run-in with the law this year. In January, he was arrested for battery, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats against his son, and again that same month for obstructing police.
He is currently promoting his new album Seen It All: The Autobiography, which drops September 2.
