Gidipoint reports that the pedestrian bridge at Alapere has just collapsed. According to eyewitnesses, the Pedestrian Bridge at Alapere Estate Bustop which collapsed was hit by a Craine.

With this sad incident, there is no access road for those coming from Iyana/Oworo and Third mainland bridge.
If you are going to the island from mainland, it is advisable to avoid ojota inward alapere to link Third mainland bridge.
