Chelsea has advanced to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League following a 2-0 second-leg win over Turkish club Galatasaray. After the 1-1 draw in Turkey, Chelsea took command of the last 16 tie after four minutes when Samuel Eto’o scored with a low shot after a lovely piece of skill by Eden Hazard cut the Turkish side open. Gary Cahill then smashed in the second just before half-time. We are a Champions League club, we are amongst the last eight, the best teams in the world, with all the big clubs. The players deserve to be there”, Jose Mourinho said after the game. We really played very, very badly. Chelsea were the better side and they converted the opportunities they got. It’s impossible to score with just one shot on goal. We need to take several steps in order to be a better team”, Roberto Mancini said.
