Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has declined to disclose any action he plans to take regarding striker Victor Osimhen following an on-field disagreement during Nigeria’s emphatic victory over Mozambique.
Speaking at the post-match press conference in Fez, Chelle said he would not reveal how the matter would be handled internally, stressing that issues among players would be resolved within the team.
Osimhen was involved in visible exchanges with teammates Bruno Onyemaechi and Ademola Lookman during the encounter, which drew attention on the pitch. The Napoli forward later requested to be substituted.
Reacting to the incident, Chelle described the situation as unfortunate but played down its significance, insisting that it would not distract the team from its objectives at the tournament.

Despite the brief tension, Nigeria delivered a dominant performance, defeating Mozambique 4- 0 to secure qualification for the quarter-finals of the competition.
