Angelina Jolie graced the cover of Elle France’s December issue with a big smile looking absolutely ravishing on the magazine. The 40-year-old is promoting her film ‘By The Sea’ ahead of its release in several European countries later this month. And Angelina seem to be optimistic the movie directed by her and stars her husband ‘Brad Pitt’ will have more success overseas than it did in the US. Angelina, mother-of-six grinned at the camera for the cover shot, with one hand resting against her cheek and the other tucked into her pocket.
By The Sea’ had a $10million budget and has so far drawn in $1.5million worldwide at the box office, grossing $488,000 in the US and Canada.
The film currently holds a 29% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with 4.6/10 being the average review.
On Elle France’s cover, Angelina wore an androgynous outfit reminiscent of the trouser suit she sported at the 2014 BAFTA Awards. Angelina’s chestnut brown locks were styled straight, and she wore just a little make-up to highlight her natural beauty.
Angelina is currently in Cambodia, working on her latest directorial project, a Netflix film adaptation of the harrowing Khmer Rouge memoir ‘First They Killed My Father’.
