Arsenal legend Parlour for launch of Airtel Premier

Arsenal legend and former England international, Ray Parlour, is set to visit Nigeria as part of the Arsenal team to the launch of Airtel Premier. The launch which will take place at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, comes after the visit of Robert Pires last year. The former Arsenal captain will arrive on 23 March, to participate in the activities marking the launch of Airtel Premier. His visit comes under the partnership between Arsenal Football Club of England and the Airtel Africa Group. Parlour will launch Airtel Nigeria’s Airtel Premier, a product designed to enhance success in the professional and personal lives of its customers. The product offers exceptional and personalized services to high Networth customers and distinguished personalities who enroll on the ‘Airtel Premier Club.’

During his visit, Parlour will be hosted to an interactive session with a select group of Arsenal fans and members of the sports media.

Parlour spent 14 years at Arsenal which he played 339 times scoring 22 goals for the Gunners. With the London club, he won three premier league titles, four FA Cups, one League Cup, three Community Shield titles and one European Cup Winners Cup.

Despite, his fantastic performances for Arsenal, the former midfielder only managed ten caps for the England national team, which he played for from 1999 to 2000.

After leaving Arsenal in 2004, he joined Middlesbrough where he spent two and half years playing 60 games in the process then signed a one-year deal with Hull City.
