BBNaija’s third eviction show for 2021 has sailed through without the removal of any housemate.
After emerging as the week’s head of house (HoH), Maria was called to the diary room where Biggie told her to convince the housemates she had the ultimate power to evict two of her colleagues.
She was asked to choose six housemates who least impressed her during the week for eviction.
Maria picked Pere, Angel, Yousef, Jaypaul, Emmanuel, and JMK.
During the eviction show, Maria was put on the spot again, after Ebuka asked her to pick the final two housemates to exit the house.
There was palpable tension as she put up Yousef and JMK, unsure if the prank would turn into reality.
But Ebuka proceeded to announce to all the housemates that there wouldn’t be any eviction.
The ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season has so far witnessed several twists that are different from previous editions of the show.
After the first two weeks, Yerins, Niyi, and Beatrice were sent packing from the house.
The second eviction show staged last week witnessed the exit of Arin and Princess, two female housemates.
A grand prize of N90 million, which is the highest in the show’s history, will be handed out to the ultimate winner.
The sum of N30 million will be the cash prize while N60 million will cover travel and other gifts.
