The Nigerian entertainment industry was put in a state of mourning after the news of the death of talent manager Vic Matt was announced.
Victor Tobechukwu Okoli, popularly known as Vic Matt is the manager and close friend to cutting BBNaija season 10 housemate, Bright Morgan.
Matt was earlier reported to have been kidnapped in Enugu State and was later shot by the kidnappers.
A fellow filmmaker Ben Cassie announced this on her Instagram page. She expressed her deep sadness for the tragedy, stating that the industry is filled with betrayers.
It is hard for some of us to see those who genuinely wish us well.
You always dropped words of encouragement even when I was most silent. In an industry of snakes and scorpions. You stood different. All you wanted, was to make good films. You were a cool, calm and intelligent one.
To be kidnapped and killed is a very heart wrenching way to leave this earth. For all the times you made me laugh and looked out for me, thank you.
