The sun was hot and the stars were even hotter at the BET Awards 2015 on Sunday. Before the main event, rappers, singers, athletes, and actors showed out on the red carpet at L.A.’s Microsoft Theater.
The Purple Unicorn herself, Justine Skye, drew inspiration from “Xena: Warrior Princess” with her gold cuffs and necklace. Machine Gun Kelly kicked off the pre-show with a performance of “Till I Die” before changing into a red blazer, picked out by his girlfriend Amber Rose, who stepped out hand-in-hand with Blac Chyna to show their support for gay marriage.
Zendaya switched up her look yet again, rocking a short bob and sparkly dress shirt, but made sure to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions.
“I got parents,” she joked as her father looked on.
Flo Rida brought the Miami heat in a pink suit, Kaurreche Tran went blonde and bared her midriff in a La Perla bra, and Broadway star Brandy arrived with her brother Ray J as her date.
