The Internets cried when rumors of Beyonce and Jay Z splitting surfaced. A source close to the couple told Page Six they were allegedly trying to figure out a breakup strategy after their “On The Run” tour without signing papers. BeyZ were also allegedly undergoing marriage counseling throughout the tour.
“They are trying to figure out a way to split without divorcing … This is a huge concert tour and they’ve already gotten most of the money from the promoters up front,” an insider said.
The reports (probably) didn’t go unnoticed by Mrs. Carter, who, in most crises, took to Instagram to show that things were swell. Bey shared a photo of her and Jay swinging their 2-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, as Blue held on to both of her parents’ hands.
While it’s hard to imagine that the Carters, who both shower entire stadiums with PDA on their current tour, are headed for Splitsville, signs of doom for their relationship seemed to come from that elevator incident and rumors that the singer removed her “IV” tattoo, an ink piece that signified both her and Jay’s birthdays (his is Dec. 4 and hers is Sept. 4) and their wedding date (Apr. 4).
