
Nigerian International Joel Obi has left Torino to join another Italian club in Chievo Verona
The 27-year-old has signed a three-year deal with Chievo Verona, with a further year’s option.
Obi scored seven goals and created five assists in 59 appearances for Torino after joining from Inter Milan in July 2015.
He made his professional debut for Inter in their 4-0 win over Werder Bremen of Germany in September 2010, but spent the 2013-14 season on loan at Parma.
Obi, who cut ties with The Nerazzurri in the summer of 2015 after joining Torino, will don jersey number 22 at Chievo Verona.
Obis Frequent injury spells in Italy restricted him to 15 appearances for the Super Eagles in eight years, but made a return in 2018 and gate crashed coach Gernot Rohr Russia 2018 squad.
