The ‘OBO’ crooner teased his fans about the project in a terse post via his Twitter page on Monday.

“Friday we go Baby on Baby,” he wrote in the post which was also retweeted by the US rapper.

Last month, DaBaby had visited Nigeria for a music video shoot, believed to be for their forthcoming project.

The ‘Assurance’ crooner has established himself as a household name in the global music industry with numerous hit projects.

Davido had recently released ‘Stand Strong’, the first track off his forthcoming album.

He has also made the headlines on several occasions for his philanthropic gestures and comments on socio-political issues affecting the country.

In March, the musician said a number of people thought he would not go far as a musician due to his wealthy background.

“I was predicted to probably have one or two songs because my daddy has money. Some said ‘he’s going to do two or three songs and we’re going to push him out of the way” he had said.

“But 11 years later, I defeated them and I’m not even 30 yet. So, the experience really touched me.”
