England ace Wilshere was loaned to Bournemouth at the start of the season after Gunners boss Arsene Wenger told him he could not guarantee him first-team football.
And it is understood there has been no contact from the club over a new deal, despite the north Londoners initially indicating they wanted to open talks.
Milan have already made their interest known as have Everton with Manchester City also considering making a move in the summer.
But while Wilshere’s future is in the balance, Gunners team-mates Olivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny and Francis Coquelin have all signed new deals.
“Francis has made tremendous technical strides over the past few years because he’s so focused every day.

“Laurent is of course a key part of our squad and I believe one of the best defenders in the world today. So overall, this is great news for us.”
