Ezequiel Lavezzi has revealed he turned down Chelsea and Manchester United in order to move to the Chinese Super League.
The former PSG forward left France to join Hebei China Fortune in February for a reported contract of £11.65m per season despite interest from the Premier League and Italian giants Inter Milan.
Following former Liverpool target Alex Teixeira, Ramires and Jackson Martinez in making the move to Asia, Lavezzi admitted the ‘financial aspect’ played a part in his switch; as well as the project in developing the club.
