Nollywood actress and producer Faithia Williams has paid a heartfelt tribute to her late colleague and mentor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
Speaking at the eight-day Fidau prayer held in his honor, Faithia reflected on the profound influence Ogogo had on her personal and professional life.
She revealed that Ogogo played a pivotal role in helping her readjust after returning to Nigeria from London. His warm welcome into the Odunfa theatre group, she said, provided her with a sense of belonging and support during a challenging transition.
Describing Ogogo as an honest and calm individual, Faithia said, “Ogogo wasn’t just a boss to me; he was someone who contributed greatly to my life when I came back from London to join Nigerians at Odunfa. He was there for me, and I was warmly welcomed. He was honest, peaceful, and irreplaceable.”
The veteran actor passed away on Sunday, August 23rd, after a battle with stage-four cancer.
