The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service on Monday said it successfully doused the fire outbreak at the Airport Hotel on Obafemi Awolowo Way.
This disclosure was made known by the Director of LSFRS, Adeseye Margaret, in a release issued after averting the fire on Monday.
She confirmed that a fire outbreak that occurred at 12:50 hours on Monday was successfully put out without casualty.
The statement partly read, “The Fire which involved a bungalow building of 11 rooms, was met with a raging fire and stopped from causing fa further damage beyond the affected six rooms while saving adjoining structures and the veteran hotel.
“While the cause of the Fire is being investigated, there was however no record of casualty in the unfortunate incident.”
