A man known for his striking resemblance to Flavour has responded to allegations that he is using the Nigerian music star’s identity to defraud people.
The individual, who goes by the name Flavour N’ututua, addressed these claims in a video posted to his TikTok account.
He stated that he has been inundated with messages accusing him of impersonating the famous artiste to scam unsuspecting fans.
N’ututua, however, denied any fraudulent activity. He explained that his impersonation stems purely from admiration and a love for the musician, not from any intention to deceive.
He highlighted the significant difference in their performance fees. He revealed that he charges between N700,000 and N800,000 for show appearances, a fraction of the real Flavour’s rate.
My name is Flavour N’ututua, please there a few things I want to address online because I have been getting some messages saying I’m using Flavour’s name to scam people. Ladies and gentlemen, I am not using Flavour’s name to scam anyone, he said.
It is just that I love him so much, I love the man. I enjoy acting like him, I am lookalike, I am not the real Flavor. Because as I am now, I go to shows for N700k, N800k but Flavour cannot attend shows for such amounts.
