Salernitana winger Franck Ribery suffered a minor head injury after being involved in a car crash, and he will remain sidelined for a few days as a precaution.

The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning when the car crashed into a traffic light in the town of Laura di Capaccio Paestum in the province of Salerno, Italy.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Ribery, who wasn’t driving the vehicle, was rushed to the hospital before he was given the green light to return home.
Meanwhile, Salernitana are currently bottom of Serie A with just 15 points after 25 games played. Ribery joined Salernitana last summer after being released by Fiorentina.
