Popular Nigerian influencer and media personality, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, has taken a strong stance against those who silently or openly wish for other people’s marriages to fail.
In a tweet that’s quickly gaining attention, Enioluwa condemned the habit of projecting bitterness onto others’ happiness. He questioned why some people feel the need to wish failure on married couples or express such sentiments online.
He wrote:
“It is a terrible thing to look at two people get married and all that is in your heart is hoping that one day it will go sour for them. Even worse, to actually pick up your phone and type that hate into a comment or a tweet.”
Enioluwa added that if someone else’s joy triggers sadness or jealousy, it’s a personal issue that needs spiritual and emotional healing.
“If someone else’s happiness triggers sadness or jealousy in you, that’s a clear sign you need to pray and deal with that bitterness. There is a healing you need.”
“Because truth is — that kind of spirit takes happiness away from your own life.”

His message has resonated with many online, drawing praise for promoting empathy and self-reflection in a world driven by negativity and online trolling.
